The beauty of motherhood

Have you recently looked at your children and wonder how did you make it thus far in motherhood?

Being a mother of two children have showed me more about myself then anybody else. I have learned that its ok not to be supermom , that its ok not to know it all. 

We tend to think mothers must have it all together and know everything. In fact it is not like that at all. We look at other moms and wonder how they get it right to be so hands on with everything they do. From the outside she look all powerful, all glamorous and in control. 

What we dont know is that she is fighting battles no  one knows about. Being a mom for a teenager and a toddler has its blessings more than the troubles.Yes we do have days where we feel like strangling each other. Sometimes you just want to break down and cry and  never get up again. Other days you just cant stop laughing and cuddling and chilling. 

Its the process we need to embrace. Each motherhood journey is diffrent I know eventhough there are many similarities. Its the things I learn about myself that make being a mother so beautiful.

Sometimes you dont recognise the person that is doing or saying things you thought you would never do or say. It is in this process that you become more aware of the flaws and imperfections within you. Its the oppertunities you start to see to grow in particular areas where you fall short.

If it were not for them I know I would have never saw it or even becoming aware of them.

Do you also treasure your children?.

Both my journeys with my two children were different. My son started living with me when he turnef10 years old and my daughter ever since she got born. There is a 13 year gap between them and it takes courage to navigate between the two.

We dont always get it right but as long as I am trying my best I know I am on the right path. Sometimes I literally dont know what to do,,and than I just hand over to God..Oh yes my Father who made it all possible in my life.

Because of Him I am the mother I am to my beautiful children.

In this life we cant maneuvere without God.We need Him so much and He need us to plant heaven on earth. To train our children in His ways. 

The beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU WILL HAVE.!!

Are you seeing a bright future for your kids or are you badmouthing them. Do watch what you speak over their lives. All power is the tongue. Whether it is life or death . What you say will come into manifestation. 

Start speaking good things over you children even if you dont see it yet. 

We are only stewards over our chiìldren and we should use the time with them with utmost intentionality.

I am becoming a mother who they will enjoy hanging out with when they feel like it.The one they can share all their dreams, desires with. I love them and would love them to know they matter . Regardless of what they did or say, they are mine to look after and at the same time I am taking care of God's children. 

Children obey your parents and parents love your children. Be kind to them ..one day you will miss them deeply when they are no longer there.

Bathroom ministry

The bathroom is the place where we can quiet down from all the noise in the other rooms of the house.

It is so because I know my husband enjoy reading articles whenever he visits the bathroom. Why this is the case only the bathroom walls will know.

Coming back to bathroom ministry concept is because here is where I had my very first real encounter with my Heavenly Father. He has made me to see me as He sees me. 

He made me see how He loved me from the beginning until here were I felt I'm not worthy of His love. He is Faithful in ministering to me as this is where I have really started to see me as He my God sees me. 

With all the faults, scars and heartbreaks God came and wrapped me in His Fatherly love. I started to see how He have walked with me all the days of my life where I was suppose to  be taken out of this life by death. 

Since the beginning of my life as a baby yet I was in and out of hospitals. There  already the devil tried to take me out.

 Today I know why as He is teaching me new things through His word and making me understand of what it is He has placed inside of me. 

Oooh... GREATER IS HE that is inside of me than he that is outside of me. 

It is to be attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit whilst in the bathroom. The bathroom is the place where we want to get rid of all th days filth from our bodies and to just ralax in a bath or under the shower. 

It is here where we can be open to the voice of the Holy Spirit as we are cleaning ourselves outside but now we can use it to cleanse even ourselves from the inside out. These can be the moments of true worship as you prepare yourself for the new day ahead. 

God's Love in His fullest glory can meet us in the bathroom also. 

Listen to His voice next time when you preparing yourself. 

Begin again

Do you feel like your life is over? That you have nothing to live for anymore? That everything you tried led to nothing?

There are those times in our lives. When we reach that breaking point and have nowhere to turn to. Feeling lost in a world that looks as if people don't care. People so consumed in their own little world of performing, aspiring and striving.

 Are the things we want so badly worth fighting for even though it hurt us so much? When do we know that enough is enough.

Living in a era where everyone wants to fit in somewhere it can be difficult to make a decision out of selfishness. Selfish in a way that it will be beneficial to you as an individual.

Yes, it is good to be nice and caring to everyone but when it cost your integrity , your values and your life dreams than you are allowed to become selfish.

It will however not be that easy to start afresh because you will have to move from the known to the unknown.

You will have to become the person you never were before. The person you have no clue about. To become the one you desire to be, starts with reflection, insight and visualisation.

Where are you now? Where do you want to be? Are you willing to go there? How can you get there?

You must be willing to allow the One who created you to have the first and most important meeting with yourself. When He let you see who you are, who you were meant to be , how to get there, you will become hungry to know more.

One cannot talk about your Creator if you never experience Him. It is only when you have that encounter when things shift in the spiritual realm. Your sight are been touch, your hearing are more clear and you walk from being lost to being found.

People you thought are your friends wont be there anymore, things you use to enjoy are not fun anymore. Your taste buds  will totally change and you will become the person you are born for.

 Yes , everything will come with a price, a price of sacrifice. Nothing is worth fighting for if you are not willing to sacrifice. You need to move away from anything that meant to tear you down to be put back together again. You may be broken but you are not destroyed.

It doesn't matter where you find yourself today or the situation that you are in . What matters is that you are realizing that you need to make a change. To see the change we need be the change.

This is so true. This comes with a process. Its not going to be a magic change over night. Oh no my friend, its going to take commitment, dedication and diligence. Focused on what you want to set in a change motion.

The results of your hard effort will not be in vain. Slowly it will develop into the beautiful end product  you envisioned. Let nothing stop you to make a fresh start in your life.

You are born for greatness and you deserve to be happy and at peace with yourself and those around you.

No one can ever say they have arrived because all of us are still on a journey. What makes it worth while on your road of starting again is that you are growing. That you are not where you use to be.

I am also with you on the journey , in the process of becoming. I dont want to miss out on what I can be, what I am destined to be.

I am may have started off to soon or wrong , which forced me to work harder. That is what pushed me to make up for the lost times. The wrong way or too soon manner can work for your good.

Nothing that we go through in our lives are random. There are always something coupled to it. You had to go through what you went through. It was part of your journey.

You gain knowledge, insight and the experience either build you or break you.

Choose to be build up !Choose to grow ! Choose to change !Choose to make a fresh start !

Love that saves

It all started 0n 13 August 2016 at a church women's conference in Potchefstroom. The moment I realised I need God more than anything else. I now know it was the Holy Spirit that drew me!

I had come to the realisation that I need my Father God so much because I had tried to live a life without Him and all it brought was heartache and pain that I could not share with God.

This was because I were too ashamed of being in His presence or calling on His name as my sins were too great. I did not feel worthy of being called by Him. 

There was a emptiness in me that no one could fill at that particular time. My then boyfriend, now my husband could not understand by then what have happened to me after giving my life to Jesus Christ. 

The  Love of Jesus Christ  have saved me. He has showed me grace and and mercy. He have heard my prayers. When Jesus touch you , your life can never stay the same. My heart is so full because His resurrection power is so real and tangible.In His presence there is deliverance, freedom and power and this where I am most fulfilled. 

He saved me by grace and He is still doing it today. I cannot fathom the presence of God. The glory of God. He is King and sits on His throne. Whenever I lift up my hands in worship and praising His name He bless me with His majestic power and presence. 

He touches my mouth and heart and all I can do is worship, worship, worship my King. Call on His name Jesus!! Holy and holy is His name.

He wants you and me to praise Him day, night and through out our entire life. You too can have access to this Love and He is able to save still today. Receive the grace, love and mercy today. 

His love saved me!!

Thank you Father God. Thank you Jesus Christ. Thank you Holy Spirit.

Nothing without God

 Nothing without God

This is a beginning of a new month, and I have so much to be thankful for that I cannot let this day go by and not write about the grace of God and how I am nothing without Him. My whole existence revolves around Him. Many times, we think we can hide ourselves from God, making excuses that this is not the time yet to be bold for Him. In this day and age, we cannot hide anymore. It is either you are for Him or against Him. You either serve Him wholeheartedly or not at all but do not claim to be His child but you never accepted Him as Lord and Saviour of your life. It is only those who accepted Him that can enjoy His benefits forever more. It's not always easy to stand boldly to declare Jesus as your King in environments where Christ is not the norm, so it will need you and me to take stand boldly and declare that He is alive, and He will accomplish what He promise in His word (Bible). I am thankful for Gods loving hand that still keep me even when I do not deserve it at times. He has always been a good Father to me, and I love Him always. I am truly nothing without Him. Titles, positions can never give me identity because I have found my identity in Christ alone. I am loved, restored, favored, anointed, not mediocre, I will see increase, elevation and abundance in Jesus' name. Amen

Make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior today.

Designer's Original

This is the 2nd last month of the year. I am still awake early morning hours. Wondering about life especially my purpose, my specific set out plan by God. The conversation I had with my husband earlier the evening sparked this fire in me to see, hear, feel and experience life more in it's fullest version. The way I as God's original design can be a difference by leaving my mark before my days are over on earth.

This is literally keeping me awake to hear from God. What is it that He wants me to hear today in this early hours of the morning. Its like am starting to see and rediscover myself. I reflect back on my journey God has brought me from and where I am currently in my life. How He has planned everything and how God knows what lies ahead.

We can easily get caught up watching other people's journeys that we so get lost in our own minds. Wondering about other people's business that we miss what God wants to whisper in our ears. So that we can clearly hear His vision and allow Him to finish what He started in our lives.

May we embark into a new season focusing on God who knows our beginning from the end. We are His designer's original. There is only one of you!! Make it a memorable image. Seize every oppertunity coming your way!!

With God everything is possible

I just have to share a testimony of what recently happened to me at the Cape Town Airport. So I was on time for my flight on my arrival at the airport.. That was around 9 o'clock am and my flight was schedule to take off 10h05 am. The boarding gates to open 09h35 an closed 09h50. 09h45 am I was still going through security.

 I some how totally forgot to go first through security before going to the restaurants for breakfast. Yoh I was literally late for the plane and the gates was suppose to be closed. I had ran in the wrong direction for my boarding gate. But God was so faithful to His promise that it might humanely looked impossible but with God all things are possible. We need to be faithful in truth  and you will see how God move the universe on your behalf.

I literally had to run as I eventually found my boarding gate and they were waiting only for me. I almost cried as I was running in faith eventhough the possibility of the boarding gate might be closed. Something just kept me going and  I know now that God was the force behind everything. He really is a promise keeper. 

This was a weekend I was so looking forward to, to see my family in Pretoria and so the enemy wanted to rob me almost of a blessed weekend but God's righteous hand was on the plans for the day.

I have learned from this episode that you should never be to prideful to ask for help along your journey. That you need to ask for help when you are unsure. To manage your time and make sure you are familiar with all the expectations of a certain journey, task or venture beforehand. Sometimes life do not always happen according to our desires and plans but that is also OK.. 

We need to be ready for  uncomfortabilty sometimes and this will be the stepping stone in growing in your faith in God. Keep your eyes focus on Jesus because that is what I did as I was running through that airport on Thursday, 8 August 2024. 

My God is faithful.
